Common Mistakes to Avoid
Walk-in drives require physical preparation rather than an online application. Arriving without complete documents or outside the reporting window can end your candidature immediately. The points below cover general walk-in best practices.
- Not registering on the NATS portal before attending: NATS portal registration at www.mhrdnats.gov.in is a pre-condition. Candidates who arrive without a printed copy of their NATS registration will not be processed.
- Appearing on the wrong date: Each stream has a specific walk-in date. Check your stream’s date in the schedule above carefully — arriving on a different day will not be accommodated.
- Missing the reporting window: The gate closes for reporting at 11:00 Hrs. Arrive early given the first-come, first-served selection basis.
- Incomplete mark sheets: All semester mark sheets from the required range must be present. A single missing semester document can affect eligibility verification on the spot.
- Forgetting self-attested photocopies: One complete set of self-attested photocopies of all documents is required in addition to originals. Prepare this set before leaving home.
- GPA/CGPA without conversion guidelines: If your marks are in GPA/CGPA format, your university’s official conversion guidelines document must accompany your mark sheets. Without this, the evaluating panel cannot assess your percentage.
