GSSSB Fireman Cum Driver Document Verification Schedule 2026
GSSSB has divided the 254 shortlisted candidates into four batches across two days based on their serial number in Annexure-B, so that verification proceeds in an organized manner without overcrowding.

Who Is Eligible for GSSSB Fireman Cum Driver Document Verification?

If these candidates possess a valid sports certificate that is verified and approved during document checking, they will receive an additional 5% of their secured marks added to their total score as per the applicable rules, before the final merit/waiting list is prepared.

Candidates must carry their original documents along with two self-attested photocopies of each, arranged in the order specified by GSSSB. This list helps candidates prepare everything in advance to avoid rejection on verification day.

- School Leaving Certificate (LC)
- Caste certificate (for reserved category candidates)
- SEBC caste certificate along with non-creamy layer certificate issued between April 1, 2023, and December 23, 2025, based on income for financial years 2022-23, 2023-24, and 2024-25

- For sports category candidates: a certificate from a competent authority confirming representation at the prescribed level (national/international, inter-university, or All India School Games Federation events), as per the prescribed formats
- No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the current employer, for candidates already in government service
- Photo ID proof bearing the candidate’s address

Minimum Physical Standards for GSSSB Fireman Cum Driver Post
Since this is a physically demanding role, GSSSB has prescribed minimum height, chest, and weight standards for both male and female candidates, which must be verified through a medical examination.

Note: Minimum chest expansion upon inflation must not be less than 5 cm.

This physical fitness certificate must be obtained from the Civil Surgeon of the respective district and submitted with the official seal and signature at the time of verification.
