Who Should Appear: Eligibility for PE&MT
All candidates shortlisted in the CBT (Computer Based Test) for the above posts are required to appear for the PE&MT as per their category and post. Driving Licence Requirements
- Constable (Executive), Male only: Must hold a valid LMV Driving Licence (Motorcycle or Car) on the date of the PE&MT. A Learner’s Licence will not be accepted.
- Constable (Driver): Must hold a valid Heavy Motor Vehicle (HMV) Driving Licence issued on or before 15 October 2025, the closing date for online applications.
Ex-Servicemen (ESM) Candidate Requirements
- ESM candidates currently serving must produce a No Objection Certificate (NOC) clearly stating their date of discharge, in the prescribed Annexure format.
- Already-discharged ESM candidates must produce their Discharge Book/Discharge Certificate along with the prescribed undertaking.
- For Constable (Executive) ESM candidates applying under the Special Category (Commando), the relevant certificate must show service in Special Forces/NSG (Special Action Group), a Qualified Instructor (QI) grading in the Commando Course, or Navy/Air Force service in specialised commando-type units.

Delhi Police PE&MT 2026: Test Format and Selection Sequence
- Race: 1600 metres for male candidates, 800 metres for female candidates (time limits vary by age group). Exact time standards are not stated in the official PE&MT notice refer to the original recruitment notification for confirmed benchmarks.
- Long Jump and High Jump: Only candidates who qualify the Race are eligible. Candidates get three attempts each to qualify. No appeal against disqualification in the Race, Long Jump, or High Jump will be entertained.

Important Instructions for Delhi Police PE&MT 2026
- No request for change in date, time, or venue will be entertained. Candidates who fail to appear on the scheduled date/time/venue will be treated as absent, with no further opportunity by post, hand, email, or any other mode.
- No travelling allowance or other expenses will be paid by Delhi Police for attending the PE&MT.
- Delhi Police is not responsible for any accident, injury, or loss during the PE&MT and will not be liable for any related claim.
- Do not bring valuables, firearms, sharp objects, mobile phones, or electronic gadgets to the venue. Delhi Police is not responsible for loss of personal belongings.
- Any candidate found involved in malpractice will be disqualified immediately.
