Candidates should not be less than 25 years and not more than 45 years as on the closing date of the advertisement, i.e. 04.08.2026.

Age Relaxation

Note: Age relaxation for DSC/OSC/BC-A (Non-Creamy Layer)/BC-B (Non-Creamy Layer)/ESM category candidates is admissible only where the posts are reserved for that category. The upper age limit for any category (except Ex-servicemen) availing relaxation shall not exceed 52 years.

HPSC District Manager Recruitment 2026: Educational Qualification

Graduate in Agriculture, Commerce, Biology, Economics, or Chemistry with ten years’ experience in handling and preservation of agricultural produce in a managerial capacity in a Government Department, Public Sector Undertaking, or a Commercial Organization of repute, on a post carrying pay scale equivalent to Assistant Manager (Quality Control) (PB-2, 9300-34800+4000, Pay Level-6) in the Corporation. Post-graduates require seven years’ experience. Preference is given to candidates holding an MBA (Marketing) degree.

Hindi or Sanskrit up to Matriculation, or 10+2/B.A./M.A. with Hindi as one of the subjects.

Note: Qualifications for each post are as per the relevant Service Rules. Equivalent qualification claims will not be considered unless specified in the relevant Service Rules.

HPSC District Manager Recruitment 2026: Exam Pattern and Selection Process

Generally, HPSC follows a three-stage recruitment process: Screening Test followed by Subject Knowledge Test and Interview. If the number of applications is large, the Commission may shortlist candidates using any one of the following methods:

Percentage of marks in the minimum educational qualification prescribed

Percentage of marks in different educational qualifications with weightage decided by the Commission

Desirable qualifications, if prescribed

Higher educational qualifications than the minimum/essential qualification

Higher experience in the relevant field than the minimum prescribed

Counting experience before or after acquisition of minimum/essential qualifications

A Screening Test and/or Subject Knowledge Test

The Commission may also decide to hold a Subject Knowledge Test and Interview directly, without a Screening Test. The decision of the Commission on the exam pattern is final and binding.

HPSC District Manager Recruitment 2026: Application Fee

Fee is payable through online mode (Net Banking, Debit Card, and Credit Card) up to 05:00 PM of the closing date. Fee once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances. Applications without the prescribed fee (unless remission is claimed) shall be summarily rejected.

HPSC District Manager Recruitment 2026: Reservation Policy

The benefit of reservation is given only to DSC/OSC/BC-A (Non-Creamy Layer)/BC-B (Non-Creamy Layer)/EWS/PwBD category candidates who are Residents/Domiciles of Haryana State.

BC-A/BC-B candidates who fall within the Creamy Layer as per Haryana Government notification No. 40/13/2024-1SW dated 16.07.2024 are not eligible for reservation benefit and must apply under the General category.

Scheduled Caste candidates must submit the latest DSC/OSC certificate as per notification No. 22/163/2024-5HR-II dated 13.11.2024.

Women candidates seeking reservation must submit the caste certificate issued from the parental (father’s) side only; certificates from the in-laws’ (husband’s) side will not be entertained.

BC-A (Non-Creamy Layer)/BC-B (Non-Creamy Layer) and EWS certificates must be issued on or before the closing date, valid for the financial year 2026-27 (1 April 2026 to 31 March 2027), and issued after 01.04.2026.

Candidates of reserved categories of Haryana for which no post is reserved/available can apply against General/UR category posts, fulfilling all General category eligibility conditions except fee, and must attach a scanned copy of their Caste Certificate and Resident of Haryana Certificate for fee concession.

Reservation benefit under ESM/DESM category is as per Haryana Government notification No. 01/10/2021-2HR-III dated 25.05.2026.

2% reservation for children/grandchildren of Freedom Fighters (FF/DFF) of Haryana is admissible as per notification Nos. 22/49/2021-1GS-III dated 27.10.2021 and 26.04.2022, subject to conditions specified in the notification.

HPSC District Manager Recruitment 2026: How to Apply

A login ID will be created after registration.

Apply against the advertisement, as per your qualifications, using your login ID.

If applying using Aadhar Number, ensure that Aadhar Card data is updated, as it will be verified from the relevant site.

Submit the application after making payment of the requisite fee.

After making payment, take a printout of the application form and upload it after duly checking and signing it.

Ensure the signed copy of the downloaded application form is uploaded, failing which the application will be considered incomplete and automatically rejected.

Carefully enter all particulars, as no change will be allowed after final submission.

Other Important Eligibility Conditions

Nationality: Candidates must be a citizen of India, a subject of Nepal, a subject of Bhutan, a Tibetan refugee who came to India before 1 January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India, or a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.

The eligibility of a candidate with regard to age, educational qualifications, and experience shall be determined on the closing date fixed for submission of online application forms.

No certificate or document issued after the closing date will be accepted by the Commission at any stage of the selection process.

Part-time experience will not be considered. Only experience acquired after the minimum essential qualification will be considered.

Candidates shall declare/disclose all pending FIRs, criminal cases, allegations of misconduct, disciplinary proceedings, investigations, and civil cases known to them.

The Matriculation certificate or equivalent academic certificate is the only acceptable document for evidence of age/date of birth.
