MSЕТCL has notified a single category of apprenticeship post – Electrician (Vijantri) – under the Auda Sanvasu Mandal, Panvel Division. All 77 seats are for the 2026-27 training batch and the engagement is for one year on a contractual basis as per the Apprentices Act.

Eligibility Criteria – MSЕТCL Apprentice Recruitment 2026

Educational Qualification

- Passed Maharashtra State Secondary School Certificate (SSC) Examination – i.e., Class 10 / Matriculation from a Maharashtra State board
- Passed the ITI (Industrial Training Institute) Electrician trade examination – all four semesters – from an institution affiliated with the National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT), New Delhi
Note: Only NCVT-affiliated ITI certificates are accepted. State-board ITI or non-affiliated courses do not qualify.
Age Limit
As per the official notification, the age eligibility window for MSЕТCL Apprentice 2026 is clearly defined. Candidates outside this range will not be considered regardless of their qualifications.
- Minimum Age: 18 years
- Maximum Age: 38 years
- Age Relaxation: 05 years for candidates from reserved / backward class categories (as per prevailing Maharashtra government rules)

Selected apprentices will be paid a stipend as per the prevailing norms applicable under the Apprentices Act. The notification states that the stipend will be governed by current government rules (Prachalit Niyamapramane).
