• A 0-2 years software development experience in data engineering with experience in Python or Java, Data bricks, Hive, Spark, EMR and SQL
• Demonstrated strength in data modelling, ETL development, and data streaming
• Knowledge of data management fundamentals and data storage principles
• Familiarity with the challenge of moving large files across a geographically disperse network. Knowledge of different accelerated transfer methods and technologies
• Experience in microservices architecture, domain driven design, and RESTful API’s
• Experience using cloud services to build an integrated application (AWS – EC2, ECS, API gateway, Lambda, DynamoDB, Kafka).
• Experience with implementing CI/CD and leading teams with DevOps responsibilities of deploying and supporting the software in production

• Dedication to and hands-on experience in performing technical code reviews
