Sri Sathya Sai District Anganwadi Helper Recruitment 2026: Eligibility Criteria
- Applicants for Anganwadi Worker, Mini Anganwadi Worker, and Anganwadi Helper posts must have passed 10th class.
- Candidates must be married and must be local residents — that is, residents of the village/hamlet where the Anganwadi centre is located.
- For Anganwadi Worker and Anganwadi Helper posts in SC and ST habitations, only SC and ST candidates respectively are eligible to apply.

- The Child Development Project Officer (CDPO) verifies the documents submitted with the application.
- Eligible candidates are called for an interview; the CDPO’s checklist records whether the candidate is eligible for interview, along with reasons for rejection, if any.
- As part of eligibility verification, the CDPO conducts a Telugu-medium test/dictation for candidates.
- Candidates who passed 10th class through the Andhra Pradesh Open School Society must submit a Transfer Certificate (TC)/Study Certificate, which the CDPO verifies carefully to rule out any discrepancy.
- Reservation roster details, including project-wise and post-wise breakup, are displayed on the notice board at the respective ICDS Project Office.

All documents below must be attached with the application, attested by a Gazetted Officer:
- Proof of local residence (Nativity Certificate/Residence Certificate/Aadhar, etc.) — mandatory
- 10th class pass marks memo — mandatory
- Date of birth and age proof (10th class marks memo) — mandatory
- Caste and residence certificate (for SC/ST/BC candidates), issued by the Tahsildar — mandatory
- Disability certificate, issued by the Department of Welfare of Disabled Persons (if applicable) — mandatory
- Candidate’s recent photo, affixed at the indicated place on the application and attested
Caste and residence certificates issued by the Tahsildar must additionally be attested by any Gazetted Officer.

- Obtain the application form (proforma given in the annexure to the notification) from the concerned ICDS Project Office — Obuladevacheruvu, Puttaparthi, or Nallacheruvu, as applicable.
- Fill in all details carefully, including revenue division, ICDS project name, mandal name, gram panchayat, Anganwadi centre name, applicant’s name, father’s/husband’s name, Aadhar number, category, qualification, date of birth, age as on 01.07.2026, mobile number, and marks obtained in 10th class.
- Affix a recent passport-size photo at the place indicated on the application and sign over it in ink.
- Attach all required documents, duly attested by a Gazetted Officer.
- Submit the completed application at the respective ICDS Project Office between 09-07-2026 and 17-07-2026, up to 5:00 PM.

- Considering child safety, reservation norms for persons with disabilities are fully exempted for the Mini Anganwadi Worker post selection, since the post involves a single person handling childcare, cooking, feeding, and home visits.
- For Anganwadi Worker and Anganwadi Helper posts, reservation is exempted at roster points 6 (blindness and low vision), 31 (deafness and hearing impairment), and 86 (autism, intellectual disability, specific learning disability, mental illness, and multiple disabilities). Considering the safety and welfare of children, at this roster point, opportunity is given only to women with a minor locomotor disability who are capable of conducting home visits.
- The District Collector has the authority to cancel this notification, in full, at any time.
