- Must be a permanent resident of the Anganwadi center area.
- Must have a valid permanent resident certificate issued by the local Tahasildar.
- Minimum 12th pass.
- Must have knowledge of Odia. If passed 10th from a board other than the Board of Secondary Education, Odisha, must have passed at least 7th class in Odia and submit a certificate from an institution recognized by the Government of Odisha.
